“Mobile to overtake fixed Internet access by 2014” was the huge headline summarizing the bold prediction from 2008 by Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers Mary Meeker, an analyst at who reviews technology trends annually in May (see latest KPCB mobile technology trends).
Well, we’re now past that point… and the prediction was correct.
So the question is no longer “will mobile search matter?” The question you should be asking yourself is “does my website properly support mobile users?”
